When life gives you lemon, you make lemonade. When life gives you tomatoes, you make Shakshukah 😋

There are many different versions of Shakshukah, but this is our favorite, where the eggs are mixed into the tomato sauce. If poached or sunny-side-up eggs is your thing, go with that! Just don’t let the tomato season end before you have some Shakshukah. 😀

Our Shakshukah could have used more eggs, but we were out. 😬🤦🏻‍♀️ It was still so yummy!!! 😋

We had a great day at Eats and Beats last Friday! We had great conversations with our customers and sold out of Beef Kebab, Turmeric Rice, Tabbouleh, Cheese Sambousa, and Kibbeh, and Basbousa with Cream all while listening to wonderful music! 😀

We look forward to the next and final Eats and Beats of the season on Friday 9/9. Come join us and enjoy some of our summer specials!
