When life gives you lemon, you make lemonade. When life gives you tomatoes, you make Shakshukah 😋

There are many different versions of Shakshukah, but this is our favorite, where the eggs are mixed into the tomato sauce. If poached or sunny-side-up eggs is your thing, go with that! Just don’t let the tomato season end before you have some Shakshukah. 😀

Our Shakshukah could have used more eggs, but we were out. 😬🤦🏻‍♀️ It was still so yummy!!! 😋

We had a great day at Eats and Beats last Friday! We had great conversations with our customers and sold out of Beef Kebab, Turmeric Rice, Tabbouleh, Cheese Sambousa, and Kibbeh, and Basbousa with Cream all while listening to wonderful music! 😀

We look forward to the next and final Eats and Beats of the season on Friday 9/9. Come join us and enjoy some of our summer specials!

We are going to be at the Willimantic Farmers’ Market (at the Click booth) this Saturday July 2nd, 2022 and at the Coventry Farmers’ Market on Sunday July 3rd, 2022.

Come get your favorite hummus, eggplant dip, and date cookies. 😋😋😋😋😋

As usual, everything is hand crafted and made from scratch. No artificial ingredients (no artificial citric acid in your dip), no highly processed ingredients, and absolutely no fillers.

We have been MIA due to personal and health issues, but we are back!

We are pleased to announce our Middle Eastern Cooking Class series! Come join us and learn how to cook some of the most popular Middle Eastern dishes. All classes will be hands-on and the food you cook will be yours to eat or take home.

Our first class will be on Wednesday July 13th and we will be cooking Makluba.
