Photography by Nicole was actually created accidentally! When I was pregnant with my son in 2011, my mom convinced me to buy a DSLR camera for the sake of being able to take better quality pictures of my soon-to-be-born baby. Once I had that camera, all of my friends and family flocked to me to take their homecoming photos, head-shots, etc. And as I kept doing photo shoots for them, I realized that I loved it and was getting better. Many of us play around with cameras during our childhood. I was no exception to that. But I had no inkling that taking photos could become such a passion until I started doing those photo shoots. Before long, I was offering free shoots to former classmates and friends around the community. I built a portfolio and BAM! I started a business. I’ve officially been a ‘photographer for hire’ since 2013. I can’t believe it’s been 5 years since I decided to take photos as a means of income! Photography has helped me pay for college; it has helped support my family (that has grown!); and it has provided a creative outlet during times when I needed it more than anything. I am very grateful to all of the people who let me practice on them, to those who have supported me from Day 1, and even those that have made the business difficult--- because I have learned from those experiences. Thank you for following my page! I hope that, no matter who you are or where you are from, I can take photos of you one day! :)
