🪴🪴 KEEP YOUR INDOOR PLANTS SAFE🪴🪴
Always inspect flowers or greenery when picked in your yard or purchased from sources who’s not inspected by the Department of Agricultural, before you bring them indoors.
Outdoor plants and flowers can harbor a variety of insects like aphids, spider mites, mealybugs, thrips, and scale insects. These pests, when introduced indoors, can rapidly infest and damage your houseplants, according to the University of Kentucky.
Fungal and bacterial diseases are also easily spread from outdoor plants and flowers to indoor ones. Common diseases like powdery mildew or various leaf spots can quickly spread in a confined indoor environment, notes Study.com.
The Petal Patch has a *permit from The Tennessee Department of Agriculture and we’ve happily passed another inspection! Our plants are happy plants!
