Well we had a kinda crazy comp weekend! Started out that we decided not to go and then got everything in order to go last minute Friday midday! Loaded up and hit the road and arrived at The BBQ Jackpot in Vegas at 6pm an hour after the cooks meeting. When we arrived we got our meat inspected and every single protein we brought was frozen solid! After jumping through hoops and getting everything thawed and prepped by 1am the day of the comp we were ready! Up at 4am and lighting fires and rolling smoke! When the chaos ended we felt like we had a good cook! We managed to get 56th 🐔, 37th 🐷 🍖, 19th 🐖, 30th in 🐮, and our only call was 6th in 🦃 out of a stacked field of nearly 100 teams!
