There’s something about stepping away that reminds you what matters.

After some much-needed time away, I’m home with a full heart, a rested mind, and a camera full of memories. One of my favorite stops was Montesino Ranch, a working farm where every sunrise came with birdsong instead of notifications. I can’t wait to share the photos with you. 📸

Tonight’s star is the Yellow-throated Vireo. A quiet little observer that spends its time patiently searching the canopy, never seeming rushed yet always accomplishing exactly what it set out to do. There’s a leadership lesson in that: progress doesn’t always have to be loud.

Tomorrow it’s back to emails, deadlines, meetings, and the beautiful chaos of healthcare leadership. But I’m carrying a little of that farm stillness with me.
