The EmilyAnn Theatre & Gardens is a 12 acre facility located in the beautiful Texas hill country in the town of Wimberley. The mission of the EmilyAnn is to reinvest in the dignity of the human spirit through the performing arts, the beauty of nature and community fellowship. profit that has grown to be recognized for their extensive interactive gardens, theatrical productions, memorial gardens, Veteran’s Memorial Plaza, Children’s Memorial Plaza and fantastic festivals that occur each year. The Trail of Lights runs during the holiday season attracting over 25,000 people each year. The Butterfly Festival is a one-day festival in the Spring with attendance topping 5000 annually. Our 12 acres of park-like grounds are open daily from dawn to dusk. Visitors are welcome to walk through our gardens, enjoy our life-size chess/checker board and interactive musical garden, spend time bird and butterfly watching, eat a picnic lunch, visit the Veterans Memorial Plaza or simply enjoy the peaceful environment of the grounds.

We are holding auditions for our Fall Dinner Show, Jubilation! Jubilation is a music review of different genres that celebrate gospel music.

We are looking for actors/singers ages 12 and older.

Audition dates are July 21-28 and can be an in person or video audition.

Show dates are Oct 9,10,11&12.

The show will include singing, acting, and light choreography.

Spring Cleaning in July!

We have done some tidying up and have some great items ready for a new home! Our selection of items range from tools to furniture to t-posts to ladders to decor and so much more!

Advanced sales are available by appointment. Text Rebecca at 214-334-0303 to schedule an appointment to view and purchase available items.

Come shop on July 11th and 12th starting at 7am. We will have most sale items inside our air-conditioned buildings for your shopping comfort.

All proceeds from this sale support the upkeep of the EmilyAnn grounds, as well as the programs and facilities we offer to the community year round.

Purchases are tax deductible. Cash, Venmo, and Credit Cards accepted.

Join us on Memorial Day to honor those who served and are now departed. After the service, we will invite the public to share the names of loved ones who blessed this country by serving in the armed forces.

Welcome music begins at 8:30am and the service will commence at 9am.

The Butterfly Festival is this Saturday, from 9am to 3pm! The weather looks amazing, the butterflies are emerging, and it is going to be a fantastic day!

Join us for the opening ceremony at the Veterans' Memorial at 9am. All other activities begin at 10am. Activities include butterfly releases every 30 minutes, a butterfly flight house, face painting, outdoor games, animal encounters, crafts, concessions, and so much more!

There is no entrance fee to the festival, but donations are always gratefully accepted so we can continue this beautiful celebration of spring for years to come!

Caterpillars headed out to schools where they will educate, transform, and prepare for their great adventure! What a wonderful time of year!

Our fearless leader Ann Rolling and volunteers from the Hays County Master Naturalists hard at work sorting thousands of caterpillars into safe habitats which will be delivered to classrooms across the area.

Children will be able to watch the miracle of metamorphosis as they witness their little crawly friends turn into beautiful flying friends!

Butterfly releases are scheduled throughout the day at the Butterfly Festival on April 12th.

The lights are on tonight! The Trail is open on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day from 6-9pm, to walk through and enjoy.

In order for our hard-working volunteers to spend this special time with family, other services such as concessions and the train will not be open. And, of course, Santa has flown off to take care of some very, very important business, so he will not be in his house.

Thursday the 26th will be our final evening of Trail and some of our faves, the llamas, will be back for one more visit.

Thank you for supporting the 2024 EmilyAnn Trail of Lights! We wish everyone peace and joy this holiday season.
