In 1980, Jean's Bridal was added to the existing Wilmot Cleaners business, which was started in 1951. Jean's started with tuxedo rentals and soon added bridal wear. As a grand opening sale, Jean offered 25% savings to her customers. After seeing how popular this was, she now offers 25% savings or free accessories, although some exclusions apply. Although Jean's Bridal started by carrying only one brand, the business picked up dozens of popular brands such as Maggie Sottero, Mori Lee, and Allure. Thirty-two years later, Jean's offers Best Service-Best Prices-Best Selection with over 700 bridal, 600 maid samples, 400 prom, and 150 mothers’ gowns, plus a great selection of accessories.
