A huge round of congratulations to all the competitors in the today. This was not your average sprint triathlon/duathlon. The 500 meter swim was classic, the 8 mile bike dodging all our beach furniture was epic albeit hard and the 2 mile run on the sand gave the legs more time to talk not so nice stories to you. Almost forgot to give a huge round of gratitude to Trent Hayden and his UNCW crew for coming out and volunteering. The UNWC Four on Three is coming. Make sure you all register a team as it is their end of year project.

Just got a message from one potential competitor that he really wants to compete in the Fat Cross Beach Bash but doesn't have 4.0 size tires and the super fat tires he can get for his mountain bike are way to expensive and still too narrow. His solution was way cheaper than two new tires. Just get a whole new bike and it has 4.0 tires to boot.
