Feature Friday! Meet Courtney Stone! Courtney started kickstand in 2010 and loves weddings just as much as she did then! Her love of beautiful design (classic blue and green are her faves!), perfectly executed logistics, and expertly planned moments are why she loves weddings.

When she’s not working weddings, she’s spending time with her husband and 2 kids in her new home, gardening, shopping, and daydreaming her next project!

Every day is an adventure for Courtney, which is what makes entrepreneurship so fun! Kickstand Events is as much a part of her life as her family, every wedding is an extension of her! 🩵

Feature Friday!! Meet Joanna Marshburn! One of our lead planners and event designers. Joanna’s love for design started at a very young age, and combined with her slight OCD tendencies (ha!), no detail will go untouched. She takes pride in curating elements that make a couple’s day unique to them and their sweet love story.

Her favorite part of the wedding day is watching the father daughter dance because it always reminds her of the close bond she shares with her dad. Yes, she cries every time!

When Joanna is not planning your special day, you can find her cozied up with a good romance novel, rewatching How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days for the millionth time, spending summer days at the beach, chasing sunsets, antique shopping, and spending time with the people she loves most.
