We love that friends want to help…but there are some things just better left to the professionals 🫡 Wedding days are a team effort. Every professional wedding vendor is committed to not only their own responsibilities but also their role on the team and in the big picture.

“Friendors” are doing double-duty as both friend AND vendor, which means they can’t really do either to the best of their ability. Vendors are not guests. They are focused on their job and while they can have fun doing it, they are not actually participating in the wedding festivities.

When it comes to the high-stake responsibilities on a wedding day, it’s best to stick with professional relationships and let your friends support you personally 💕

We love when we really get into the groove with a bride and the vision completely comes to life. From dreaming up the statement ceiling draping to Marisa thrifting all of the silver platters to pair with the whimsical florals, we fully transformed into something out of a romance novel — the perfect backdrop to Marisa’s iconic dress and glove moment. We’ll simply never get over it.

We wish we could say every wedding runs 1000% smoothly but the reality is things happen because everyone is human. Handling the changes and challenges that arise is where the true value of a planner comes in and we’re so happy we could make sure Marisa and Bryce could focus on what really mattered — making memories with their family and friends (and keeping a drink in hand at all times!).

There’s no doubt that ChatPGT and Claude can be helpful resources but nothing replaces having a planner and local vendor team that not only create your vision but also execute it.

There are so many things AI isn’t the expert on… especially things that are hyper-specific to your venue, your vendors, and available resources.

As wedding planners, we understand how a timeline and room will flow based on your guests and photographer. We have measured your venue to know exactly what rentals are needed and will fit. We helped choose your vendors so we know what they’re capable of, what’s expected, and how to coordinate their duties.

Chat can be helpful in processing ideas and getting you up to speed on general wedding planning knowledge, but when it comes to your event, nothing replaces local vendors who live and work in the industry 👏🏼
