Without becoming a mother I would not have found flowers. I left my job and embraced a new chapter for my beautiful babies. During that time, I found flowers. My mother, Brenda, always knew the name of every flower and plant and made the most beautiful wreaths. I’m so very grateful this Mother’s Day reflecting on how lucky I am to have the most amazing Mom, who supports and encourages me always. I’m so blessed to have smart and kind children who have led me closer to myself than I could have ever imagined.

Have you ever tried to strip leaves off a Tulip stem… and it just snaps?
It’s so frustrating. Especially, if you don’t have a bud vase to save it.

Even as a florist, I’ve done it too. So here’s a better way to prevent that from happening.

Removing leaves the right way doesn’t harm the flower at all. In fact, it helps by directing water and nutrients straight to the bloom, keeping it more hydrated and helping it last longer.
