Handfastings, rooted in ancient Celtic tradition, are a stunning symbol of commitment and love ✨✨✨

This ceremony element, along with other unity rituals, allows me to tailor your wedding ceremony to reflect your unique love story.

What I adore about unity rituals is their versatility - no two have to be alike. Each one can be tailored to fit your ceremony's overall vibe.

For example, handfasting cords can be chosen for their meaningful colors, heritage, or personal significance.

There’s a magic that happens during a wedding ceremony - time stand still 💫 the beautiful anticipation and exhales as the bride enters the space, the palpable joy as I bring couples together to hold hands - and the sense of calm - the sweet glances and meaningful words shared, all culminating to what what everyone there is excited to hear…. “MARRIED!!” And then, forever begins 💜💫

PS. They also chose to incorporate a tree, planting ritual into their ceremony with soil from each of their home towns and a sapling that they nurtured 🌿

While creating + holding intentional space for your love during your wedding ceremony, I’m also thinking about “giving you space” at key times….like while you’re sharing your personally written wedding vows ✨ See photos 2+3?! You can see beautiful Shannon reading her vows to John, but you don’t see me🔥 I strive to be cognizant of your photos, by stepping back or to the side when possible. I’m also squirrel-sized, so that’s helpful when hiding, too 🐿️😁

was the perfect venue, too, with its historic gothic windows (my fave!) and original heart pine wood throughout. This beauty in downtown Wilmington was originally built in 1888 🤩 It’s also a great option for couples to beat the summer wedding heat ☀️

💫Congratulations Kaylee + Matt💫 I loved celebrating your love with you 💜

Swipe these highlights beautifully captured by 🤩 K+M’s ceremony bursted with emotion and happy tears as they shared their promises from their private vows with all of their guests… Kaylee literally took Matt’s breath away as she walked down the aisle 😭, the marquee tree showed out, their sweet grandmas signed the marriage license (their signatures forever captured, to look back on 🥹), their 1st look was one that fairytales are made of 🤩 and beloved pup Mila made a pre-ceremony appearance to celebrate her paw-rents getting married 😍 (probably for the best that I didn’t get to witness that in-person because she would’ve come home with me in my purse 😁)
