December highlight : Carnation ❤️

Carnations are one of the oldest cultivated flowers, loved for over 2,000 years. They are so amazing for being low maintenance & a lasting flower. I easily put them in any bouquet to add more color. In this case both the bright & dark red carnations are the star of the show this holiday season. Red carnations mean love & admiration. Perfect to go with any holiday decor you have.

November highlight : Masterwort 🍁

Unique is what we look for & Masterwort is just that. It looks like tiny fireworks or starburst adding flare to the perfect bouquet. It blooms late spring through summer, bridging spring and fall gardens beautifully.

October highlight : Winterberry ✨

They’re native to North America and thrive in chilly climates—talk about winter tough. Those bright berries aren’t just pretty—they’re a favorite snack for birds when food is scarce. Having this statement piece was just fine in cool homes here in Texas. This year cool weather hasn’t arrived just yet. However, I don’t see any reason why we couldn’t enjoy them early. Enjoying the process of building a bouquet each month especially for our regular customers is a highlight truly to us.

September highlight : pampas grass 🌾

Did you know pampas grass is known for its tall, feathery plumes that can reach 6-10 feet tall (some varieties up to 13 feet). That’s just amazing! I love watching a plant grow & then reap the rewards just enough to not take away from its given beauty. I’ll forever have love in my heart for pampas. Glad it was enjoyed in our monthly subscription this month!!

August highlight : Cockscomb 🩷

They’re known for their unusual, velvety, brain-like blooms that resemble coral. The colors range from vibrant pinks and reds to yellows, oranges, and even multicolored varieties. They’re popular in cut flower arrangements and also dry beautifully, keeping their color for a long time. Needless to say we love them!

July Highlight : Hydrangea 🩵

Hydrangeas are in their peak bloom in summer. We couldn’t wait to give these for our July monthly subscription. Native regions include Japan, China, Korea, and the Americas. It’s fascinating to know in Japan hydrangeas can symbolize heartfelt emotion, apology, and gratitude. The meanings behind the blooms make them worth giving.
