"A Day to be Pampered & feel Beautiful for two Beautiful girls battling Cancer"

Kirsten a Philadelphia based Wedding photographer who we've worked with over the years reached out to us to see if we would be willing to work her on a project to help two teenage girls battling cancer feel beautiful. Our immediate answer was "YES, how could we help!"

Kirsten told me that last week, a mom from her hometown (Havertown, PA) reached out to her that her daughter, Lilly Walker, a teenager with an inoperable brain tumor. If you google Lilly Walker Cancer or Lilly Walker Havertown you can find a lot about her because she’s pretty open about her cancer journey. Kirsten told us that Lilly has been having a really hard time. Lilly met Abigail, now her best friend, who also has an inoperable brain tumor, in a support group for teenagers with cancer. Abigail has unfortunately also been having a really hard time. Lilly’s mom reached out to Kirsten to see if she would be willing to do a small photoshoot for the two girls to just help them smile and feel beautiful.

Kirsten instantly wanted to do more than that. Her dream was to set up a mini styled shoot for them. Hair, makeup, dresses, a venue, florals, all of it. Kirsten did not disappoint! Long story short she made them feel so special and so beautiful! Between having a planner totally on board, also hair & makeup artists, Florist, Dress Designer, and the use of the Elkins Estate in Elkins Park. Not to mention First Class Rolls Royce bringing out a car for a backdrop for photos!

These two beautiful women are fighting the fight of their lives! So happy we could be a part of putting smiles on their faces even if for a day.
