But beyond the nostalgia, this is also a great example of how design extends beyond tables and florals.

Bridal party attire is part of the visual story of the day.

Different shades of green, different silhouettes, different textures — and yet it all reads cohesive in photos.

This ceremony felt intimate for two reasons.

First — the circular seating. Everyone was pulled closer to the couple instead of watching from rows away, which completely changes the energy in the room.

Second — the chairs.

Now imagine this exact space with white folding chairs.

Nothing is wrong with them, but the feeling shifts immediately.

Furniture quietly does a lot of the design work, which is why I always have clients look at chair options early — either in the rental budget or when choosing a venue.

Hi — there are a lot of new people here lately so I figured I should probably re-introduce myself.

I’m Danielle. I plan weddings and spend a weird amount of time moving chairs a quarter inch and fixing things no one else noticed.

Last year I taught myself CSS and rebuilt my entire website because I had a vision for how it should feel and couldn’t ignore it.
If something lives in my head a certain way, I’ll usually learn whatever I need to learn to make it real.

I like structure, I like details, and I like when a room feels relaxed even though a lot is happening.

I also like to have fun while working, especially in high-stress environments, which these photos captured better than any headshot ever has. 🥹

Here’s a quick peek at what it’s like to work an event day with me- fun, focused, a *little* sweaty, and very much alive.

I take the work seriously, but planning doesn’t have to feel stiff. There’s room for laughter, movement, instinct, and joy while we build something uniquely memorable together.
