Choir students,

Thank you for showing up this week. I love seeing all of you participating in our sight reading and vocal warmups. You've done a really good job with your recordings, too! I'm looking forward to our in-person rehearsals, which will hopefully begin in a few weeks.

In the meantime, I have one request. It's probably going to sound silly, but I would love it if you'd unmute and talk once in a while. Have a question? Hit that "Raise Hand" button! I WANT TO HEAR YOUR VOICES. Pretty please?

You are all amazing and I know that you're going to be proud of what you accomplish!

Hi everyone!

Just a quick word to assure you that students enrolled in choir will also be having in-person rehearsals at Springfield. Details are still be worked out and information will be shared as soon as we have it. Drama Club will also start later in the fall.

The school year may not be starting as we planned but that doesn't mean that we won't be performing! The WHS Chamber Singers will be featured performers along with the Blue Band in "Jessica Lynn's A Very Merry Classic Christmas" on December 3rd.

We are committed to creating as many performance opportunities as possible for our students. We hope you will join us at the Maryland Theatre for this incredible concert. Class of 2026 Choir members: Don't forget to take your choir uniform with you to your Myerly & Lowe session so that you can take your portrait for the Music Department Senior Wall.

If you forgot to grab it before summer break, no worries - we can do it on Picture Day in the fall. However, it is a little more convenient to do it in the summer.
