‼️ HURRICANE HELENE RELIEF‼️‼️

I am in contact with a good friend who lives in NC and was affected by the Hurricane. I am collecting items for residents in Asheville, NC who lost everything and are stranded and cannot get out. I’m asking for my friends and community to help out our own.

New or lightly used shoes/ clothes

I am wanting to collect these items by October 20th. My friend will be coming to pick up the items to take back down to NC with her when she goes. I want to pack her 15 passenger van and small box trailer full!

The Washington County Office of Emergency Management is pleased to announce that bottled water will be available for residents of Van Lear and Tammany Manor affected by the recent water main break. Residents may pick up bottled water at the Halfway Volunteer Fire Company, located at 11114 Lincoln Avenue, Hagerstown, MD 21740, starting immediately.

Water service for residents in Lakeside Village, Van Lear and Tammany Manor is expected to be fully restored by approximately midnight tonight. All other residents outside these areas should start to see their water service return to normal.

Important Information:

🔹 No boil advisory will be necessary.
🔹 If your water appears cloudy when you first turn it on, please let it run until it clears.

🔹 Halfway Fire Department, 11114 Lincoln Avenue, Hagerstown, MD 21740

We appreciate your patience and cooperation during this time as crews work diligently to restore water service to the affected area.
