Next up on our beneficiary lineup is Romeo Padilla!

At just 17 years old, Romeo’s life changed fast after weeks of severe symptoms led to a diagnosis of Stage 4 metastatic germ cell cancer. By the time he arrived at Children’s Mercy Kansas City, the cancer had spread to his abdomen, lungs, and brain.

Romeo spent 45 days in the PICU fighting through complete organ failure and continues to show unbelievable strength through every step of treatment.

Now, after four rounds of chemotherapy, there is hope ahead. Romeo recently got to attend his senior prom, is preparing for graduation, and is focused on getting stronger every single day.
