First of all, a resounding NO! in my opinion. I ask only because in recent years we've seen a big uptick in August weddings as people try to capture that perfect fall wedding atmosphere just a little early. Pretty hard to do sometimes in Kansas when the temps are like they are today.

Personally, I think it's the venues that drive this early fall season. There just aren't enough weekends in September and October to handle all of the couples out there who want a fall wedding. So if you're set on a fall ceremony and you find yourself getting married in August (like we did!) you need wedding attire that will leave you cool and looking great. That's where we come in!

Just a friendly reminder that we will be closed for two weeks starting next Monday. We've tried to get the word out early and often so no one is caught by surprise. Special arrangements have been made for all of our wedding parties, so everyone will be taken care of, but if you have any questions or concerns please reach out to us at the shop before we go.

Just an early warning to all our friends that we will be closed for two weeks at the end of July. All of our wedding parties have been notified and special arrangements made, so our people are taken care of, but the shop will not be open at all the weeks of July 21 through August 2.

We'll be repeating this post on social media and posting on our website and online profiles as well just so hopefully no one will be be caught unaware and be upset. If they are, well then sorry but it's a family run business and families need some time away now and then.
