Chartwells Catering was honored to cater the WSU Alumni Foundation’s Heritage Gala for the first time!

Our dessert brought a touch of indulgence to the night, featuring a rich, Ooey Gooey Butter Cake topped with Salted Caramel Pecan Brittle, drizzled with caramel and chocolate syrup, and finished with a dollop of whipped cream. It was the perfect sweet note to end a wonderful celebration of heritage and community. Huge thanks to WSU Foundation and Alumni Engagement for the partnership and the chance to be part of such a special event. Here’s to more shared moments ahead!

We can’t thank the Greater Wichita Partnership enough for their continued collaboration with us at Chartwells Catering and the incredible work they do in Wichita and beyond!

Pictured are some of our favorite menu items from the event. We have our crisp and refreshing cucumber canapés with beet hummus and za’atar. Our delicious Latin wonton chicken tacos with cilantro crema and cabbage. The star of the show was most definitely the tuna crudo on endive with a drizzle of yuzu honey vinaigrette.

Step inside Club 95—the gateway to Wichita State’s Innovation Campus.

We had the honor of catering the open house of Club 95 President Muma, pictured above, was thrilled to introduce us to the new space. The atmosphere was just as special as the menu. We passed a spread of hors d’oeuvres including coconut chicken bites with sweet chili sauce, Philly cheesesteak spring rolls, and a beautiful spread of charcuterie.

Guests didn’t just enjoy food—they experienced it, along with rich chocolate mousse and drinks from a full-service bar, all while soaking in the sleek, modern vibe of Club 95.

NEW COLLAB! 💛🍕🍔

We are excited to announce a new partnership with WSU Dining in overseeing the grill area of our operation! With this collaboration, a new menu will be offered starting Monday, Aug 5. We’re excited to offer new food and beverage options in one of WSU’s favorite spots! 🤩🥗🥤

In order to make the transition happen, the grill area of the Shocker Sports Grill & Lanes will be closed Wednesday, July 31 – Saturday, August 3. You can still visit for some bowling or billiards during this time, though! 🎳🎱
