I always encourage a First Look but if a couple really wants to see each other for the first time down the isle, I will make it happen! First Looks help a lot with the timeline. For example, your guests won't have to wait as long for the Reception to start because you're just getting to take all your pictures together for the first time after the Ceremony. However, if it feels more special to you to be more traditional, I get it. Having a coordinator can help pull this off!

Are you getting married at a church and have a second venue for the reception? If so, hiring a coordinator could be a big relief! For two venue weddings, typically I'll get the bride down the isle and then go to the second venue to light candles and make finishing touches so that when guests start to arrive everything is absolutely perfect! 👌

Don't forget to Pre-register for the Bridal Expo this weekend. It's Saturday from 10 AM - 4 PM and Sunday 12 PM - 4 PM!

TIP 2: Print labels with your contact info and wedding date. EVERY vendor will be asking for it so don't waste time and/or cramp your hand filling out paperwork 😣🚫✏

TIP 3: Create a special email address for your wedding. It will make managing things easier and help to keep all the advertisements out of your personal email box.

TIP 4: Come hungry and prepare for lots of food/cake samples! 😊

In some Asian cultures it's standard for the bride and groom to greet each guest table and take a shot. Let's make sure we talk with your bartender/caterer to fill some fake "shots" so things don't get out of hand if you have 20+ guest tables 😬

One thing I'm proud to say that I've mastered is pinning boutonnières! While some florist can offer magnets, make sure it's strong enough to stick through a tux. The many thick layers of fabric just may have you best with a pin instead. Trust me, I've learned from experience 😅 One of things I've become accustomed to doing during my day-of coordinator service is pinning boutonnières.
