Throwback to one of the first weddings I ever worked.

The night before the ceremony, the bride decided she wanted a backdrop to hide the bridal party. There wasn't one. There wasn't time to order one. And the venue definitely wasn't designed for one.

So I dug through fabric I had on hand, stayed up sewing, and created one overnight.

And those oh so elegant drapes?

Held up by lunchroom tables. 😂

Here's the thing: anyone can help when everything goes according to plan. The value of a great planner shows up in the moments no one saw coming.

There’s something really special about getting to be part of moments like this 🤍

Yesterday’s setup was simple, but the meaning behind it? Huge. Being invited into someone’s milestone, watching the excitement, the pride, the celebration... it never gets old.
Graduation isn’t just a party, it’s a chapter closing and a whole new one beginning.

I’m always grateful to play even a small role in these moments. It’s more than décor, it’s being there while memories are being made.

Team time doesn’t always mean meetings and emails. ☘️

Today we closed the laptops, grabbed our familes and headed to the St. Patty’s Day parade together. There was a lot of green, a lot of candy being thrown, kids running everywhere, and us pretending we weren’t just as excited as they were. 😄

Honestly, these are the days that remind me why I love this team so much. We work hard together, but we also get to do life together and that matters.

As our wedding and event planning business continues to grow, I’m making it a priority to connect with more local business owners in our community.

Of course I’d love to meet others in the wedding and event industry, but I also believe some of the best ideas and partnerships happen when we step outside our usual circles. You never know what opportunities or collaborations a new relationship might bring to the table.

Monday nights look like this.

Soccer practice. Late. Cold. Sitting in my car with my laptop glowing in the dark while I peek up every few minutes to watch my boy run the field.

This is what “becoming your own boss so you have more time” looks like.

And “it must be nice to just play with décor all day.”
Oh friend… if only.

Being a business owner is not all florals and pretty tablescapes. It is late nights. It is invoices and timelines and contingency plans. It is second guessing yourself. It is wondering if you were actually cut out for this. It is exhaustion you don’t post about.

I have questioned myself more times than I can count.
Am I good enough
Am I doing enough
Am I growing fast enough

But here’s the part that keeps me going.

I do this for my family.
I do this because I love what I create.
And I do this for my clients and their peace of mind.

When you hire me, it’s not just about your wedding day. It is months of behind the scenes planning. It is detailed timelines. Vendor communication. Backup plans for the what ifs and the uh ohs. It is me lying awake thinking through the flow of your ceremony and the transition into dinner so it feels seamless. That is why I’m in a dark car on a Monday night working while my son runs drills under the lights.
