Last night with Madysen & Wyatt was something special.

Young love, real happiness, and a room full of people that just fit - like the perfect blend. ❤️🤎❤️🤎

Family, friends, energy… all mixed together and the result was a straight vibe. Pretty sure that dance floor never saw empty once.

Grateful to be a part of moments like this.

But for real...
There’s a difference between playing songs and 'creating moments'.
Anyone can hit play. Not everyone can control the energy of a room.

Went to a wedding this weekend as a "guest"… which felt weird because I’m usually the one behind the booth 😅

Dance floor was cool, but you could feel it wasn’t all the way there yet. Then it felt like someone walked up to the DJ and said "play one of them ones..."

Next song comes on… "DONT SPILL IT" (Mistah F.A.B.) 🤐

Within 3 seconds, the whole room shifted. Aunties, cousins, bridal party… everybody locked in like it was a family reunion.

I just stood there thinking… "yep! That's the one!!"

Here’s the gem:

It's women's history month and as a DJ, let's talk about Women in music. 🪕🎙️🎹🎵🎶

Women have always helped shape the soundtrack of our lives. We could name countless artists, musicians, DJs, and pioneers of music that are women.

I’m grateful for their contributions but the music, creativity, and energy women bring to music started with road trips with my mom!

Sing a longs that were scream a longs. Knowing every word and hearing the stories of the song. Listening to moms talk about the memories of the moments those songs came out as where she was at

THAT is where it started for me. Shout out to all the moms, and women of music!
