The National Institute for Culinary and Hospitality Education (NICHE), managed by WSU Tech, is a multifaceted entity combining innovative curriculum with business operations to create synergistic learning outcomes for students and a highly skilled and passionate workforce that will not only benefit NICHE but Wichita itself. Our mission is to celebrate and enhance our culinary landscape and our fou

nding principles are sustainability, accessibility and innovation. NICHE houses the WSU Tech Culinary Arts program. Throughout their two-year associates program, our students receive over one thousand hours of culinary lab instruction (actual time in the kitchen). But in addition to this, all of our students have the opportunity to work in the Bistro, Food Hall, events and catering. The pressures and timing of a bustling kitchen or large-scale banquet are impossible to duplicate in a lab environment, which is why we consider this real-world experience to be essential in preparing them for the workforce. NICHE features an open to the public Food Hall as well as several rentable spaces throughout the facility including Henry's Place, the Event Center and Rooftop Terrace at NICHE.

Our first Full Circle Luncheon sold out almost instantly… so we’re bringing it back! 🍽️

Join us Tuesday, December 9th for a 3-course lunch menu created by student chef extraordinaire Molly Rosol.

Growing up as the oldest daughter of a local Kansas farmer, Molly blends a farm-to-table sensibility with her passion for Italian cuisine, creating dishes that are both comforting and beautifully elevated.

We invite you to experience the culmination of her hard work and growing talent.

Expect a five-star experience from start to finish, perfect for a lunch date, a downtown outing, or a mid-day culinary adventure.

Congratulations to Jaxon Coleman and Sebastian Hoach on their Full Circle student-curated five-course dinner at NICHE, which sold out in just a few hours.

Guests were treated to a five-star culinary experience from start to finish.

From seared scallops with trout roe to KC strip and duck with egg-yolk raviolo, each course reflected refined technique along with the creativity, ambition, and growth these two have developed throughout their time at NICHE.

This intimate dining experience, hosted inside our stunning downtown NICHE building, was limited to just 20 seats. If you weren’t able to attend, don’t worry.
