The ink will be flowing December 5th through the 7th when Ink Masters Tattoo Show and Golden Wave Tattoo Invitational present the Wichita Falls Tattoo Expo! There will be live tattooing all weekend with as many as 100 award winning tattoo artists!

The staff at the J.S. Bridwell Agriculture Center are aware of the recent Equine Herpes Virus (EHV-1) outbreak that has the Equestrian community on high alert across Texas following the 2025 WPRA World Finals event in Waco on November 5-9, 2025.

The Ag team is taking this situation seriously by closely monitoring updates and implementing heightened biosecurity protocols. At this time, no events at the Ag have been impacted.

We encourage you to follow the Texas Department of Agriculture (TDA) and the Texas Animal Health Commission (TAHC) for further information regarding this outbreak.

On November 18, Texas Animal Health Commission (TAHC) received information that multiple horses are exhibiting clinical signs of equine herpes myeloencephalopathy (EHM), the neurologic disease linked to equine herpes virus (EHV-1).

The extent of this EHV-1 outbreak is not yet fully known. Presentation of EHV-1 in these horses has been acute with rapid progression and high clinical severity. Investigation into the character and epidemiology of this disease event is ongoing but the need for rapid and proactive actions to curb the spread is clear.

We've got a busy weekend planned at the MPEC with Jordan's Way Bowl at Kay Yeager Coliseum, SSC Hangar Holiday in the Ray Clymer Exhibit Hall, and Equifest Salute to Veterans at the J.S. Bridwell Ag Center! If you will be visiting for one or more of these events, be sure to check out the parking map below for suggested event parking. Although the recommended lots are color coordinated according to the event you will be attending, patrons are welcome to park at any of the open lots. Please be aware that the multiple events happening simultaneously may cause heavier traffic than usual. We hope to see you soon!
