🌮❤️ 5 YEARS OF TACOS DON PEPE! ❤️🌮

Today officially marks 5 years since we started Tacos Don Pepe, and it's honestly hard to believe how far we've come.

Five years ago, we showed up to the very first Taco Fest for our very first event… and it was PURE CHAOS. 🤣 We had absolutely no idea what we were getting ourselves into. Our line never stopped, we completely underestimated how much food we would need, and we had family members making multiple emergency trips to the store just to keep us going. 😂

Back then, there was no food truck. It was just us, our canopy, our food, and a whole lot of figuring things out as we went. We continued setting up that way until 2023, when our truck made its first appearance at the Archer County Rodeo. 🌮

Over these five years, we've learned SO much. We've met countless customers who have become familiar faces, made friends with other amazing small-business owners, traveled to events all over the area, celebrated wins, survived plenty of crazy days, sold out more times than we can count, and made memories we'll never forget.
But the most important part of our story started before we ever served our first taco.

We began this adventure just one month after Pepe — Lucio's dad — passed away. We named Tacos Don Pepe in honor of him. ❤️ We know he's been watching over us through every event, every long line, every mistake, every accomplishment and every step we've taken to get here. And we know that if he were still here, he'd be our #1 customer. ❤️

What started under a canopy five years ago has become something we never could have imagined that first crazy day.

To every single person who has ever stood in our line, ordered a taco, booked us for an event, recommended us to someone, shared one of our posts, congratulated us on a win, or simply decided to give our food a chance — THANK YOU!

You are the reason we're still here five years later.
We are incredibly grateful for every person who has supported Tacos Don Pepe and loved our food along the way.

Here's to 5 YEARS — and hopefully many, many more. 🌮❤️

What. A. DAY. 🥹❤️

Burk Friendship Festival, THANK YOU! We spent the whole day with y’all and brought what felt like a mountain of food with us… and somehow STILL completely sold out! 😂🌮

As always, no matter how much asada we bring, y’all make sure that’s the FIRST thing to go. We could probably triple the amount we bring and it still wouldn’t be enough! 🤣

By the end of the day, I was over here marking things off the menu left and right until we were basically down to pastor tacos. 😂🙌

Thank y’all SO much for continuing to show up, support us, and love what we do. We truly appreciate every single person who stopped by, grabbed some food, said hi, shared a post, or simply supported us today. ❤️

It was such a great day, and we are so grateful for y’all! 🌮🔥
