The 21st Annual Sculpture Garden Exhibit was installed last Friday and we celebrated with a public garden party and reception on Saturday, featuring all of the visiting artists and their new artwork on the grounds of the Kemp Center for the Arts! The exhibit is open to the public Monday-Saturday 9am to 5pm and Thursday 9am to 8pm and there is never an admission fee.

Cheers to our featured artists this year and for all of those who help and support this annual event!

Our Small Works Juried Exhibit call for entry is coming to a close on on Friday, May 16th, so there is still time to get your submissions in, no matter where you live! Exhibit dates are August 1st to October 4th.

• Enter up to 3 pieces for $25 entry fee
• PRIZES! ($500 for 1st place, $250 for 2nd place, $100 for 3rd place)

Studio Saturday is happening tomorrow, May 3rd, at the Kemp Center for the Arts downtown! Free and open for all ages to join anytime between 10am-Noon.

Summer is almost here and flowers are in bloom! 🌹In this month's Art Lab: Studio Saturdays we'll be learning about the ancient tradition of wax resist using simple art supplies. Draw on paper with an "invisible" wax crayon and then bring your image to life using watercolors. Ms. Mona will walk you through each step of our May project and you'll learn techniques you can easily repeat at home.

With 2025 in full swing, we're making a few changes to our beloved drop-in Studio Saturdays! Whether you're coming in with kids, grandkids or just bringing yourself for some creative time, there's something for you. Here's what to expect:

First Saturday of Every Month – Teacher-Led Craft Class:
Join our talented Teaching Artist, Mona Stegal, for a guided arts and craft session designed to be fun and accessible for all ages..

Other Saturdays – Self-Directed Studio Time:
Come enjoy a relaxed, self-guided art session! We’ll provide all the supplies and a pre-recorded demonstration video to inspire your creative journey. You can follow along or let your imagination take the lead.

Art Lab: Studio Saturdays is every Saturday from 10:00am -12:00pm at the Kemp Center for the Arts.
No registration needed – just drop by and create! We can’t wait to see what you make!
