The Mill Pond Club Announces New Wedding & Event Venue Experience

The Mill Pond Club is excited to announce the continued development of its new wedding and event venue overlooking a scenic 70-acre Mill Pond at one of the Southeast’s oldest established hunting clubs.

Currently finalizing event offerings and accommodations, The Mill Pond Club will offer wedding and event packages starting at $3,500.

The venue is designed to host wedding weekends, corporate retreats, bachelor parties, private celebrations, and outdoor gatherings in a setting that blends Southern hospitality with natural beauty.

In addition to waterfront ceremony and event spaces, guests will also have the opportunity to stay onsite and enjoy the full property experience. The Mill Pond Club features two onsite houses along with the Birdies Maid Cabin, creating a destination atmosphere for wedding parties, corporate groups, and guests looking to relax and celebrate all weekend long.

If you have any interest in touring the property, please come join us for our Open House on June 25th from 5:00 PM – 7:00 PM. Guests will enjoy light appetizers, drinks, live music, and the opportunity to experience everything The Mill Pond Club has to offer.

SUMMER INTERNSHIP OPPORTUNITY 2026

The Mill Pond Club is looking for motivated intern interested in wildlife management, farming, duck and fish management, and hands-on land conservation work.

You’ll work alongside our local farm manager and gain real-world experience with:
- Running tractors
- Building fences
- Setting trail cameras
- Managing ducks and wildlife
- Habitat and land management

We manage nearly 4,000 acres, so every day brings something different.

Housing is provided in a newly renovated 3-bedroom home.

If you enjoy the outdoors, work hard, and want valuable hands-on experience this summer, we would love to hear from you.

What an incredible day at the Mill Pond Club! We want to thank everyone who came out to support our fundraiser for Columbus County and the Town of Brunswick.

With a sold-out crowd of 20 teams, we raised well over $5,000—an amazing show of support from our community! Huge thanks to our sponsors and the individuals who went above and beyond with their generous donations.

Special appreciation goes to Meredith Teder and Stephanie for keeping everything running smoothly with registration and lunch—we couldn’t have done it without you!

Congratulations to Bryon Teder, who claimed Top Gun honors after an exciting shoot-off on Station 8 using a 20 gauge! Team Malpass secured the team victory, with Toddy Russ’s team finishing just a few s***t behind.

We’re gearing up for our next s***t tournament this fall—and it’s going to be even bigger and better. We’ll be adding new categories, including women’s and youth divisions, giving everyone a chance to get in on the action.

The Mill Pond Club will be hosting The Great Outdoors – Youth Conservation Day.

Club America Wilmington invites kids ages 7–13 to a FREE Youth Conservation Day filled with adventure, learning, and hands-on outdoor activities.

Campers will participate in hiking, archery, outdoor skills training, and wildlife education led by local game wardens. Through guided instruction, participants will learn the importance of caring for the land, conserving wildlife, and stewarding the world God has given us. Our goal is to inspire a lifelong appreciation for the outdoors while providing a safe and enriching experience.

We closed out the regular season at Mill Pond Club the right way.

Saturday brought snow, high winds, and ducks flying all day — the kind of hunt we want forget. Limits were filled with a great mix of birds for our area: widgeon, gadwall, teal, and canvasbacks.

Best season we’ve had since starting the club in 2008.

Mill Pond Club Update

Classic club weekend. We kicked things off with oysters from Ray’s Produce, followed up with deer and duck poppers off the grill.

Austin Storms and his dog, Money Clip, made it into camp and got on a few quick, successful treed c***s.

Saturday morning was a true gentleman’s duck hunt with a mix of teal, gadwall, woodies, and mallards.

Stephanie topped it all off with her classic breakfast casserole
