We were so wore out yesterday we didn’t get a chance to post! Working with a skeleton crew, we fed over 150+ anglers and patrons at the 903 Fishing May Madness Crappie Tournament! We really appreciate all of the angler’s patience and understanding as over 90+ showed up at the window after weigh in results. We were slinging sandwiches, chips and Meaty Macs right and left!! All and all we enjoyed ourselves and can’t wait for next year! Thank you to El Bombi Garcia for the great action shots! You’re doing your thing fam! Good to see you! Thank again for having us out and choosing us to feed your anglers, Caleb!!

Long post, but legitimate question:

Event organizers, how do y’all come up with food truck/vendor fees. Is this a random number you throw out or something you saw someone else charge so you figured you would do the same. Why are you charging a food truck $200 and a tent vendor $100? Are you providing water and electricity hook up to the food truck for the additional fee?

Also food trucks have changed the game when it comes to the food element of planning events. Organizers are not having to foot the bill for the food cost as we did in the past. So why is it now most use this as a way to make a profit off the food trucks before they have even made their first sale at said event?

There are no wrong answers, but let’s have an open grown up discussion about this……
