We are only a few months away from being able to leave FTD!!! November can’t come soon enough!! Please I implore anyone to NEVER use 1-800 Flowers, From You Flowers, Avas, Ruth’s Roses, etc. They are order gatherers, NOT real florist!! They send orders to use as a third party through FTD Mercury. Once the order gatherer takes their cut of your money and FTD takes their cut it leaves nothing for us to actually make the arrangement you ordered. This use to be a great program to generate more orders for florists but now they are literally robbing us and YOU! Please, please, please, call a local florist to the area you would like to send flowers to. You’ll be helping a family feed their children and keep a roof over their heads while also getting a better service with a professional florist. Put your money in the hands of someone whose livelihood and passion is their business, they’ll take care of you more than any call center employee from across seas! What you see in yellow is how much money we should be getting for the orders we did. In green is all the fees FTD charges us. And finally, in pink, is what we actually got paid to make and deliver the flower arrangements. Another corporation stealing from locally owned family businesses. Help us and other locally owned businesses in your area by ordering directly through them. Locally owned businesses feed your local economy, do them a favor by supporting them the best you can.
