🍁 FAVORITE FALL DRIVES NEAR QPVC 🍁
Fall in Vermont is almost here! 🍂🚗 If you’re staying with us at Quechee Pine Valley Campground, grab a coffee, turn up the music, and take one of these gorgeous drives:
🍁 Quechee → Woodstock
Follow Route 4 west through Quechee and Taftsville into Woodstock. You’ll pass Quechee Gorge Bridge and the Historic Taftsville Covered Bridge before arriving in classic downtown Woodstock. This is an easy drive that packs in a LOT of Vermont scenery.
🍂 Woodstock → Killington via Route 4
Keep going west from Woodstock toward Killington for mountain views, winding roads and increasingly dramatic foliage as you head toward the Green Mountains.
🍁 Woodstock → Barnard
Take the quieter roads north toward Barnard for that quintessential Vermont look—rolling hills, farms, forests and country roads. Vermont Tourism specifically features Barnard as a fall destination in the Upper Connecticut River Valley.
🍂 Route 100 Fall Drive
For guests wanting a longer leaf-peeping adventure, head toward Route 100 and spend an afternoon exploring. Vermont Tourism calls Route 100 a favorite for fall foliage, and Vermont officially recognizes sections of it as the Scenic Route 100 Byway.
