Little Satilla River Jam Among these friends, are musicians from Nantes, France, a culturally vibrant and ecologically active city situated on the majestic River Loire.

An International family of musicians show their love and support for the Majestic Satilla River with three days of majical musical performances nourished and inspired by natures embrace. The Little Satilla River Jam began as a solstice party for friends who were graduate students at Georgia Southern University and a group of well respected and highly capable musicians of the blues and boogie genus

. After several years of stellar get-togethers, we were joined by more friends who appreciate the antioxidant tea water of the Satilla and agree on the importance of preserving her life sustaining ecosystem. The quality of the music is multiplied by the return of positive energy from quality people being nourished and inspired by nature's healing embrace.

Hello Campers, unfortunately I have to make the call to cancel our scheduled River Jam due to emenant flood conditions forecasted for the Satilla River in the coming weeks. This the normal cycle for this ecosystem and we've been lucky sometimes but not this time I'm afraid.

Thank you all for your continued support for the Sattila Riverkeeper and stay tuned for a fall date.

Hello Happy Campers
A very dear friend was in need of a little kindness this weekend to get through a difficult and emotional matter. It was such an honor to just listen and give a long hug or two. Sometimes its the most important thing in the world to simply be there.

This is a reason to pull together and be a united force for doing the right thing. Isn't it right that we all want clean water and air for our children? Isn't it right that no one wants their children to become an endangered species? Isn't it right that the millions and millions of people from all over the world who have personally experienced the largest and most spectacularly diverse natural wonders of the world will demand respect when they fight to keep the Okefenokee National Wildlife Refuge protected.

Who would want to benefit in the short term from permanently damaging a 440,000 acre freshwater ecosystem responsible for gathering, filtering and providing ample water to the St. Marys and the Suwanee rivers thereby endangering both river's ability to support fish and wildlife by starving them of their life force.

Whoever wants this is WRONG
Whoever makes it possible is WRONG
Whoever chooses to do nothing is WRONG

LETS DO THE RIGHT THING..TOGETHER!
