We love spectacle. A great pyro or drone moment, we are first in line. But spectacle is not the thing. Connection is.
We designed a moment around one singer, a single spotlight, and a projection mapped onto her dress so it looked alive. The whole room leaned in. Then, on the most poignant line, the dress falls away, the space opens, the cast floods in, and a quiet ballad becomes something everyone feels together.
That did not come from one idea. It came from lighting, media, and costume designers solving it together and trusting each other to hold their part. Without that collaboration it would have been fine. With it, it was unforgettable.
That is the real work. Not the effect. The people who build it together.
