Such a great day and so thankful for the weather!! Year 2 of our annual cow trip to St. Joseph’s school in Cockeysville. The best part is how engaged all the kids are and the amazing questions the kids asked… even the PreK and Kindergartners. We are so thankful that the school allows us to bring our farm@to Cockeysville.

Love being able to continue the tradition of bringing farms to schools! We brought 3 egg incubators, fertilized eggs and some knowledge and presented to the St. Joseph’s school kindergarten and 8th graders this past week. My husband Kevin has always wanted to make sure more then just the “hereford zone” is exposed to farming. When he was growing up he was the only “Lutherville” boy heading out to the country to go to his monthly 4H class, the only one spending his weekends waking up at 5 am to milk cows or summer plowing fields. He wants to make sure all the kids know there are these opportunities and experiences.

Yesterday I had the honor of standing next to my husband while he presented on regenerative farming to the Women’s Republican Committee of Baltimore County. Watching Kevin step out of his comfort zone and speak and educate a crowd so passionately was truly enjoyable! Best part is we made it a date day at the same time. Get it in while you can when your parents of four babes!!!

When your best friend is a Brown Swiss cow named Raelyn you realize these moments are some of the best ones to capture. Mox and her girl Raelyn began their journey when she was 4, the first time she ever participated in a 4H show. From that moment on her favorite cow breed is the Swiss. Raelyn’s milk is creamy, she is a gentle giant and above all loves her girl Moxley. Forever friends. Thank you again Living the Dream photography for capturing some of the best.
