As many of you know, Royal Occasions is very tiny business run by two women. Because of this, we only have two performers. Both performers have been dealing with health complications that have impacted their ability to perform to the standard and consistency that we have come to expect from ourselves.
We want to take time to step away from outdoor events and focus on getting better physically so we can better portray the characters your children love so much.
We hope to be back at local events in the fall, but one of the main triggers for both conditions is weather. Severe heat will set off one performer, and severe cold will take down the other. This makes outdoor events very difficult for us in our current state. We are trying to assess what weather conditions we will be able to make appearances at moving forwards, and how long costumed performers will be at whole day events vs unconsumed face painters.
This being said, we are still happy to receive requests for indoor events and birthday parties during this hiatus, regardless of weather. These will be accepted on a case by case basis based on performer availability.
We appreciate your understanding and continued support through all of this—we hope to come back stronger than before.
