My goal in 2024 is to put out more content of things that I create when I'm just having fun and sharpening my skills in the kitchen. Also to work on my plating.

This is a seared duck(with crispy skin) over a Thai green coconut curry both topped with Thai basil and cilantro and served with jasmine rice.

The duck. BRUH. I COOKED THAT DUCK TO UTTER PERFECTION LOL.

So yesterday I had the honor and pleasure to meet and chop it up with chef Dedrick Donnell of it was so refreshing to talk shop with a fellow accomplished black chef. We talked about everything from food to culture to how to approach our black youth! He dropped some serious gems on me and I'm forever grateful for the knowledge I picked up. The love he has for food and our culture lit a fire in me to keep going. Thank you again brother and we'll be linking up again real soon.

I just wanna take a second to thank everyone for the wonderful calls, texts, messages etc. That you've sent my way for my birthday! I'm 34 and I'm more focused than ever on building this brand and I promise to continue to push the mission statement of sys catering! The best has yet to come so just keeping rocking with me!!
