🎓🥎 WHS SOFTBALL SENIORS 🥎 🎓
Happy graduation day girls! Thank you for allowing me into your senior season and shoving a camera in your face😂. I enjoyed capturing the wins, and losses (I swear I wasn’t the bad luck charm 😬) - either way the clips looked great!
Severa, watching you on the mound and battling it out was one of my highlights this season. Most memorable moment wasn’t even during a game, it was when I lost my purse and went to the locker room and you were curled up under a blanket on the beanbag chair napping💀You’re one of the best pitchers our town has ever had!
Lauren, I feel like no matter where you played or where you were you were always having the best time. Most of my clips of you are of you smiling and I love that about you. You were an absolute wall behind the plate and a great first baseman.
Zora, your energy and positivity in centerfield and in the dugout was awesome to see. You never hesitated to chitchat with me and were always so kind. You had me laughing a few times and I loved watching you put it all on the line and play your heart out.
Emma, girl. You’re probably one of the most impressive athletes and humans I have been fortunate to be around. I watched you lift this team up like nothing I’ve ever witnessed. Truly a friend to all and the ultimate role model. Even in those tough games you still showed up for your team every single time. Not to mention hitting a few bombs in the process.
All four of you played with grit and heart. You each reminded me of my own love for the game I once played on this same field that I have forgotten over the last 15 years.
My hope for you four is that when you find yourself missing it you can pull up these photos and videos and just like that, you’re back on Fortner field ❤️
