Good morning! It’s a beautiful rainy day here in Wetumpka. I’ve finished sipping my second cup of coffee and now it’s time to work on some Valentine’s Day arrangements. Valentine’s Day is only TWO days away, so if you want a special order of any kind now is the last minute time to order. I do not do deliveries, except for funerals and memorial services, but I do deliver to my booth over at Eastbrook in Montgomery and items can be picked up there. I’ve added some new things into my booth ( #155) and pics are posted below. (Wood Items are made by my son, David).

Hi everyone! I wanted to share this post from Caffco Floral Outlet. I will be doing some floral demonstrations there on November 4 for their Open House. I will demonstrate bow making techniques, wreath making and other things yet to be determined. I hope those of you who are local will be able to attend.

I buy all of my floral supplies from Caffco and have also been an employee of Caffco. It is an amazing store! They supply all kinds of craft items, floral supplies, gifts and even some clothing. Hope to see everyone there! 😊

Two whiskey barrels full of flowers! I really loved making these. I’ve been wanting to make some to sit on each side of my driveway entrance. No way could I ever keep up with watering them because there is no water source nearby. That’s why sometimes faux flowers are the way to go!! These are not for me, however. They are sitting in my booth at Eastbrook Antique Mall in Montgomery, Booth 155. I will have to make some for myself another day. 😊

This is a new item. It’s my “Bee Happy” sunflower and daisy wreath. Summertime flowers with a Bee Happy hand shovel in the middle. Please share with anyone who you think might be interested.

This is a wooden planter box packed full of multi-color gorgeous silk flowers. I know we all enjoy REAL flowers for sure, but sometimes not having to be concerned about watering them all the time is a relief. Also, some people are not able to do the watering. This is a beautiful and light weight alternative. Message me if you’re interested.

It took me a bit of time to decide how I wanted this piece to look, but I finally decided to make it look like a little bird’s nest inside a heart. If you ever watch birds you will notice how they flit around and hide inside bushes and flowers. That’s what these beauties are doing.

Flowers make life beautiful!

Growing Up Flowers actually began a few years ago as a flower farm here on my land. I love being outdoors and I love flowers, so what could be better than a flower farm? Well, I also love making beautiful arrangements with flowers, so I have now expanded to offering any and all occasion arrangements to the public. Some of the flowers come from my small farm, and some come from local wholesalers and retailers.

I am an experienced floral designer, and I previously designed for a local florist. I provide arrangements ranging from small handheld bouquets to elegant table arrangements to sympathy funeral arrangements and casket blankets. I work with live and silk flowers. If you can imagine it, it can be made!

It would be a privilege to design an arrangement for your special moments. All arrangements are made with 100% pure love!
