Last weekend we did a great wedding for Karen our bride at St. Clement's Castle. It was a gorgeous day with the view of the Connecticut River. Flowers in shades of pink, white and green including roses, hydrangea, lisianthus and special accents of jasmine vine.

Congratulatons to Victoria and John! Here is the bouquet made for her ceremony, with favorite flowers delphinium, garden roses, stock, green hydrangea, green lisianthus and touches of jasmine vine. Such a fragrant bouquet.

Thanks to our brides this past weekend Lynn and Kendra. We had a busy and fulfilling weekend. First we were at Farmington Club with cool feather and palm centerpieces on our candelabras. Then on on Saturday at Jonathan Edwards Winery with lovely creamy white and soft peach florals.

We had a great wedding at Avon Old Farms Hotel. We brought the vision of our bride Amie to life with garden roses, peony, hydrangea, rice flower and touches of pearls. We also incorporated the wine theme with a fun touch with cork boutonnieres. Congrats to Amie and her beau. :) Her bouquet included a charm in memory of her father and fabric from her mother's wedding dress.

One of the bouquets we did this weekend for the bride included sentimental items tied to the handle - a glove from her grandmother's gown and a family Bible. Her flowers included the blue orchids. So.... her bouquet included something old, something borrowed and something blue. Ahhh :)

You know......florist work isn't always working with beautiful, lovely things from nature. It is also dealing with boxes, recycling, trash and bubble wrap. Ahhh bubble wrap.... :)
