Weddings are a blend of so many things …. emotions, dreams, love, family, friends, details, planning and to me the most magical weddings are when all of this comes together to create a beautiful day. This was a close to my heart wedding as both Alexis and Nhaama are a special part of our family. It was such an honor to play a small part in their wedding day and love story.

A retirement party! A little different from our usual wedding design …. One of our own design team husband’s was celebrating a big milestone in his career and I was honored to work with her on this party! Lots of details made the room come alive and the mantle was perfect spot for featuring the guest of honor.

This beautiful wedding from last September!

My apologies to Quinn + Jared for not sharing their vision and very special day sooner. A day filled with gorgeous details and design. From their colors - blue & white, to doing some of their wedding pictures in advance so they could be used in the decor, using different small cakes as part of their welcome table, creating a welcome table that was a showpiece, incorporating blue & white Chinoisere vases throughout, and creatively disguising not only ugly gray doors with blue & white fabric (you’ll see a tiny corner in one picture) but an equally ugly wall with their entrance table. So many details that made this wedding absolutely beautiful.

It was such an honor to be a part of your special day.

This is a post about table numbers. I know this is probably not at the top of your list of things to worry about. Lol But bear with me.

As a wedding designer I have a strong opinion about table numbers. I follow many wedding sites & have seen gorgeous centerpieces out shadowed by table numbers. The table numbers are almost as large as the beautiful centerpiece you were dreaming of.

I know you need to be able to see the table number but they do not have to 5” x 7”. And, how can I say this without offending your venue? Don’t use the table numbers your venue offers you. They are always generic and large and will take away from your well thought out, gorgeous centerpiece.

There are so many options, from creating a table number that complements your design to wooden numbers in script …. The objective is to be able to see the number but to also have that number be part of your overall design. Thanks for listening!
