Respectfully… say less. 😏

No mood board approvals. No color debates. No “can we see another option?” Just complete trust (which is equal parts flattering and mildly terrifying).

For their June rehearsal dinner + welcome party at FEATHER & WEDGE and Rockport Art Association & Museum, we let the spaces do the talking. FEATHER & WEDGE’s modern coastal vibe was the perfect excuse to bring in bold color and absolutely zero coastal clichés. Then we carried that same energy into the art gallery—because if there’s ever a place to have a little fun with design, it’s surrounded by art.

Turns out, sometimes the best design brief is simply: surprise us. 🤭

Working with trusted vendors makes my job SO easy. For this project, I sent probably 10 photos and said “have a ball” — nailed it.

I sent a description of the vibe “anti bride, chrome, natural materials, sassy AF, run with it” — iconic details.

I came to at and she had the table set almost exactly like this already.

A vendor team that gets it, gets it. And I am so thankful to have such amazing creatives helping me bring any of my wild ideas to life. 💚💜🤍
