How We Started
In 2010 Jake and I got married! After searching for several options when looking to decorate our hall, we decided to make our backdrop. I’ve rented out the Pipe and Drape Backdrop off and on since then. I started adding more colors and options to it. In 2015 we made the decision that I would quit my full time job to stay at home with our three children. I was looking for a way to still help with the cost of the things I like to call “extras”. If you know me at all you know I LOVE my family pictures. This wasn’t something I was willing to give up. So I decided to expand my rental business to see if I could generate some income while being at home. I purchased things here and there. Business grew and grew and the word started getting out about Keep It Simple Rentals. We bought a large box trailer to store everything in. Things have gone very well and I feel very fortunate to still be working with people and helping support my family at the same time. In 2018 I was able to purchase a small rental business from some local ladies, with that came some sentimental items. They had purchased some of the late Mildred Bruemmer’s Wedding Decorations. I fell honored and excited about the beautiful items I bought. They have already made an impact on several weddings. I’m considering this year a “building year”. We are adding onto our house and making a “show room” for the rental business. I am also working on building a website and a better marketing plan. Excited for the future of this small business! Thanks to our Family, Friends and the Community we live in for all of the support we have had the last several years. I look forward to many years to come.
