I know what you’re thinking, "oh look Adam is changing is DJ name again, cool. I wonder what it’s going to be next month.” And to that I say, well I had a logo made for this one so I’m keeping this one for at least two months. Most of you who know me know that I hate the concept of even having a “DJ name”. It’s been an introspective journey and I’ve come to discover that regardless of what your name is, if you put DJ in front of it, it’s not going to sound cool. Well, maybe DJ Dragon. Damn, that should have been the one. Whatever I’m all in now. So I decided to just bite the bullet and go for DJ Latitude. Some might pose the question, who does this guy think he is, a map? Others might ask, why not longitude? ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ I just thought latitude sounded better, and you can call me DJ Lats for short because I have great lats. Now for the real question, why latitude? Latitude is a geographic coordinate that specifies the north-south position of anywhere on earth. Now let’s get all abstract and deep af with this. My greatest strength when DJing is giving my audience a conduit to music all around the world. Apart from that, my other key strength is my versatility which allows me to customize my sets to fit any context. I aim to bring you the right level (synonym for latitude, so deep) at the right time. I’ve played at bars to frat parties, and from camp dances to clubs to college dining halls. I even have a coffeehouse gig in the works (it’s gonna be suave af). My goal is to take you on a musical journey through different genres and time periods where you won’t be able to stop dancing. Ok I’m done.
