Plot twist: some of the floral inspo making the rounds lately was never made. Or grown. Or, in some cases, physically possible. 🙃

AI has officially entered the floral inspo chat.

Meanwhile, we’re over here working with actual flowers, actual mechanics, actual gravity and our own two hands. No prompts. No imaginary blooms. No casually defying the laws of physics.

Just human creativity making beautiful things with flowers that exist in the real world. Call us old-fashioned. We’re good with it. 💐

I had the most wondrous time Emily Day // Bell Brook Farm yesterday creating a number of incredible large scale installations with the theme of “Fire in the Field” with THE loveliest group of creative minds and genuinely supportive people, led by the GOAT SEMIA. There is not a whole lot that tops this in my humble opinion. The icing on the cake was the delicious five course meal prepared by Chef Chris and Chef Jared from Wooden Bar. I can’t wait to see and share the professional photos from Shannon Grant!

This one deserves a moment of its own on the grid. One of my favorite things about this time of year is the abundance of beautiful New England-grown flowers. Locally-grown Limelight hydrangeas, peaches and cream dahlias and millet came together for this sculptural statement piece.

The es**rt card table is often the first floral moment guests experience. I like to use it to set the tone for everything to come.

Here’s to colorful weddings! 🌈✨

I’ll always have a soft spot for the classics — timeless whites and blues, lush whites and greens, romantic blush and cream— but there’s something about color that truly sparks my creativity. Especially when the palette brings together shades you might not expect.

From our very first conversation, this bride described her vision in two words: “vibrant and joyful.” And what a joy it was to translate that feeling into flowers — playing with color, texture, and unexpected combinations to create a celebration that felt like her own.

Because sometimes the most memorable palettes are the ones that break the rules just a little.

So tell me: are you team color, or will classic neutrals always have your heart?

This ombré garden ground meadow we installed for M & R’s wedding ceremony will live rent free in my head forever. You will never go wrong with an all white bouquet with texture and movement. It works any time of year. Here is one of our favorites that we created for a bride this June. We selected some of the best spring blooms with intent to create lush texture and dancing moments. Swipe to see our favorite detail of all — the bride’s late grandfather’s wedding ring — a touching tribute that had me in tears as I was fastening it to the bouquet.
