If you love a good Panzerotti the way I do you need to head on over to one of my favorite spots in South Philly
As soon as I saw this All American Combo, I jumped in my car to take a ride over the bridge to get it! And am I glad I did! The cheeseburger panzerotti was cheesy and burgery and all the comforting things you expect from a burger (ok so burgery isn’t a real word but I’m keeping it in anyway 🤪) It didn’t even need any extra ketchup or mustard or anything to make it delicious. The fries were like the best fast food fries only a million times better than I’ve ever had before. And then for something sweet. The he blueberry pie Panzerotti was like Blueberry Cheesecake inside a Panzerotti can it get much better than that? I don’t think so. To be honest in my adult beverage drinking days this would’ve been the perfect hangover meal.🤣
Thanks to chef’s, Danny Jake and Sam for making my Panzerotti dreams come true You guys rock it out every single time! Today is the last day for the special so if you can get over there, I highly suggest it!😋😋😋

I made the viral no-fold dumplings inspired by crispy no-fold dumplings. The original recipe used pork but I had some shrimp in my freezer so my dumplings featured pork and shrimp and boy were they delicious! I also improvised on the dipping sauce using the ingredients I had in my pantry.
I served the dumplings over a little rice and a side of green beans with slivered almonds. Head on over to Lisa’s page to request her recipe. You won’t be sorry!

My first haul of the season! The beginning of Farmers Market season is my, “It’s the most wonderful time of the year,” moment. Not only does it mean that the school year is coming to a close and that summer is is around the corner, but it also means that I get to see some of my favorite farmers and food artisans after the long cold winter. My Saturday Mornings are sacred. They are like therapy for me. I always feel my happiest when surrounded by all of the sights and sounds of the market. I just want to thank for keeping this market up and running like a well oiled machine year after year. As well as all of farmers, purveyors and employees for taking the time to chat about your goods, creating food and your kindness. Each and every one of you fills my heart with joy. 🥹💜🐘

Thanks to my sweet friend Rachel for picking up these goodies for me from If your lifestyle includes a vegan diet, or like me you are just up for some healthier options you MUST check out Beneficial Bakery. All of Diane’s creations are made from fermented vegetables. It’s all allergen free, gluten free and dairy free.
I got the yogurt, which I like to use in place of sour cream. I also got the cream cheese for the first time which literally tastes like Philadelphia Brand Cream Cheese. Then there’s the Irish Cheddar Cheese. I kid you not this cheese has the same taste, consistency, and melting abilities as any type of cheese made from dairy you would buy anywhere else. I also had to get another one of these Almond Protein Bars. Now I have tried a lot of protein bars, and I typically don’t like them, but these are above all others the texture the flavor. It’s seriously almost like eating peanut butter cup, but without the guilt.
and just check out that marshmallow deliciousness in that cereal treat. It was absolutely amazing and totally hit the spot.
And finally my friend picked me up a Cheddar Biscuit. I did exactly what my friend suggested, sliced it toasted it, and put a little bit of butter and boy was that flavorful. I can’t wait to get another and make a little slider sandwiches on them.

My first Farmers Market Haul of 2026!
I went to Pre-Season Market and boy was it jammed packed. To say that people are excited about Farmers Market Season is an understatement! The lines were a little overwhelming for me but I wouldn’t have missed it for the world.

My first porch pickup from I picked up my freshly made english muffins and sandwich loaf sourdough bread from Maddy’s front porch. I placed my order earlier this week and drove by for a quick and easy pick up this morning (scroll through to check it out)
Is made myself an open face egg sammie with her delicious sourdough english muffins with two sunny side up eggs, Canadian bacon plant based pepper jack and butter buffalo sauce. I had my other half with a touch of butter and raspberry all fruit.
My son went for a traditional BEC sammie. Both were scrumptious and I can’t wait to try the sandwich loaf.

Snowstorm Dinner
Loved this Asian inspired Chicken Soup with Chicken & Cilantro Mini Wontons
Here’s what I used
-Homemade Chicken Broth made with Rotisserie Chicken, onions, carrots & celery
Then I added some soy sauce, sesame oil and duck sauce
Next I added in Chicken Cilantro Mini Wontons and Japanese Style Fried Rice
I topped it off with scallion, sesame seeds and hot mustard
It really hit the spot!

Thanks to my good friend Rachel for introducing me to located in Egg Harbor. I am not vegan but I’m all about subbing in more healthy options for some of my favorite foods. Since this was my first visit I went a little wild and had to try a little bit of most everything. Swipe through my pics to see everything I purchased. As of now the standouts are the Chocolate Peanut Butter Power Bars-they taste like a crispy peanut butter chocolate bar, and both of the cheeses. How these were made solely from fermented veggies is purely magic. They seriously just take like regular smegular cheese. SERIOUSLY!!!

Enjoying every last moment of this holiday season with a visit to my favorite coffee spot and grabbed brunch for the fam from my fave food truck Thanks to and for not making me choose between the avocado toast and chicken sammie! They were both scrumptious! My guys loved their cheesesteak omelette and papas bravas!
