I know it sounds strange, but I actually enjoy weeding. A little sunshine, a little dirt, and a quiet afternoon in the garden can do wonders.

Anyone else enjoy weeding as much as I do? 🌸

🌸Good Morning from the flower farm 🌸

The stand located at 65 Bacon Street Westminster is open daily this week from 9–7 and stocked with fresh flowers, houseplants, perennials, and the last of our hanging baskets and mixed planters.

Our upcoming workshops are filling:
• Bouquet Bar Night on the Farm – June 25
• Summer in the Garden – July 9

Join us Sunday, June 14th from 12–4 PM at The Barn Princeton alongside many wonderful local vendors for their spring market.

We now offer wedding and event rentals, and DIY flower buckets will be available later this month.

🌸 A little reminder from the garden...

Every year, gardening finds a new way to keep me humble.

Today I learned that a few dahlia tubers I was convinced had rotted and ended up in the compost pile are actually growing just fine. 😆

After years of gardening and growing flowers, you’d think I’d know better than to give up on a plant too soon. Apparently, some just need a little more time.💕

Over the last year, I’ve had the privilege of getting to know Maggie and her family, and it was such an honor to create these flowers for her wedding day.

🌸 Cutting more peonies for the stand today, and this Coral Charm is going to be beautiful!

One question I get every year is about the ants on peony buds. The good news is they’re completely normal and don’t harm the flowers. Ants are attracted to the sweet nectar on the outside of the buds and often visit while the blooms are getting ready to open. Once the flowers open, the ants move on.

Seeing these peony buds brings back memories of the early days of the flower farm. Four years ago, our stand was simply a pallet table built by my husband, filled with flowers and a dream. We planted more peonies knowing they would take years to establish, and now those tiny plants have grown into rows of beautiful blooms that I can share with all of you.

One of the greatest lessons gardening has taught me is patience. Sometimes the most beautiful things take years to bloom. 💕
