Times:
· Registration: 8-8:45 a.m.
· Entries after 8:45 may not be accepted until after the start of the first round.
· First round starts at 9:00, round 2 at ~10:10, round 3 at ~11:20 or ASAP,
· Awards ceremony: ~12:30

Format:
· Swiss System, 3 rounds, Game/30, d5
· Open to all students K-12.
· Trophies awarded

Sections: Based on a combination of grades and ratings of the entrants, for example …
· Novice: Grades K-5 and under 800
· Intermediate: Grades K-8 and under 1000
· Open: Grades K-12 and 1000 and over

Money:
· $5 Entry Fee: By Friday, the day before the tournament, at 6 p.m., e-mail to [email protected] entry information (name, school, grade, USCF Id, & expiration) and pay on Saturday. Emails will be read on Friday at 6 p.m.
· $8 Entry Fee: Sign up at the door.
· Cash or checks accepted.
· USCF: Current USCF membership required: $20 for kids under 18, includes Chess Life online.

Directions:
1. Epping is in southeastern New Hampshire at the intersection of Route 125 and Route 101 at exit 7.
2. From that intersection, go north on 125 for 1,000 feet. Turn left onto Main St. Go about 1 mile.
3. Turn left onto Prospect Street and drive on the left side of the school to get the entrance.

To Bring:
Money, chess set, board, chess clock, and USCF membership information.

Etc.
· No Smoking allowed on school property. Handicapped accessible.
· For cancellations due to weather, listen to WMUR TV, channel 9.
