Ok y’all… this moment has been lovingly holding so much space in my head since this past Saturday. Well, maybe not this exact moment but - 36 seconds from now when our bride made it down the stairs and to her dad and linked arms at the EXACT chorus moment she wanted to… we try so hard to plan and coordinate (and even sometimes control) so much and when it times out right it’s just THE best feeling 🎶💕

Today felt good to soak up sun while catching up on work and prepping for a productive week ahead. I’m sure we have a few more winter weather days and those few are far less than our friends up North but today helped reset perspectives and warmed us up inside and out.

10 years y’all… It still feels unreal. I have accepted that I carry my loss with me but am thankful that my memories of her always bring me strength and remind me I can work harder and be kinder and practice more forgiveness and empathy. Today always offers a nudge to be gentler with myself too so thats what I’m doing. Cheers to you mom
