Happily Ever After Nuptials

Thank you for considering Happily Ever After Nuptials to perform your wedding ceremony. Lyn Herron is the only officiant. I received my credentials to officiate in June of 2015. My decision to do so was in response to the Obergefell v. Hodges Supreme Court Decision making marriage equality the law of the land. I wanted to be a safe and welcoming place for all people to celebrate their love in a way that speaks to their relationship.
Who we are:
Happily Ever After Nuptials offers wedding officiating and is located in central Ohio. I specialize in unique celebrations that are less than 15-30 minutes in length. I will write and perform your wedding ceremony. This includes the welcome, prayers, your story, narratives, ring exchange, vows, closing prayers, announcing you as legally married. Anything you want added to or removed from the ceremony can be discussed in our consultations. A list of what to expect from me is included in this document.
Who we are not:
Happily Ever After Nuptials is not a wedding planner nor a “Day Of” coordinator. I am not responsible for securing other vendors, such as caterers, photographers, or DJs. I am not responsible for decorating or setting up your altar or ceremony location. I am not responsible for coordinating the members of your wedding party for the ceremony.
What to expect from me:
You will receive a written statement of my fees when you sign a contract. My base fees are for ceremonies in Franklin County (Ohio) and counties adjoining Franklin County. Fees for further distances will be noted in the contract. Additional fees will be noted should you require any unforeseen extras after we sign the contract. I will be available for an initial consultation to meet you as a couple and to discuss your plans. Often this is an hour or so in length. We can meet in person or virtually, as both our schedules allow. Our contract will include two (2) in-person or virtual meetings to discuss your ceremony. If additional meetings are required, a nominal fee will be assessed. I will be available for one rehearsal. If an additional rehearsal is required, a nominal fee will be assessed. I will arrive one hour prior to the beginning of your wedding ceremony so we can discuss any last-minute questions.
