Your Wedding Your Way!
On June 26, 2015 the Supreme Court of the United States decided for marriage equality in the Obergefell v Hodges case. The next day I went to American Marriage Ministries and got my credentials to officiate ceremonies of love and commitment. I dedicated myself to listening to couples, find out who they are and what’s important to them, and fashioning a ceremony specific to them. What can you expect from me? You can expect that I will listen and celebrate your unique love without judgment. I’m a member of a Unitarian Universalist Congregation and identify as pagan spiritually. I don’t bring that into ceremonies unless you believe the same as I do. I have done secular ceremonies, Christian ceremonies, Wiccan handfastings, and other ceremonies that defy definition. What do I expect from you? I insist on meeting the couple at least once before agreeing to officiate. This isn’t for me to decide whether you’re “a good match for each other”. It’s for the couple to decide if I am a good match for you and your ceremony. My fee varies depending upon the distance and involvement required to build your celebration. My minimum fee is $100. I have connections for bakers, caterers, disc jockeys, and photographers. If you would like me to share these resources with you, let me know and I will confirm their availability for your date before sharing your contact information. I look forward to meeting and discussing your plans to celebrate the unique love you share.
