It was an unforgettable wedding tasting at Kahani; where fine dining truly meets an exceptional culinary experience. Chef Sanjay’s creations were at their best, with each dish a feast for the senses.

Without revealing the full menu, the starter of paneer kofta was rich and flavorful, while the lamb torte was simply divine. Each dish was crafted with care and beautifully presented. The service was nothing short of impeccable.

PERSIAN WEDDING CEREMONY.
Rituals and traditions :
SOFREH AGHD: “sofreh means spread” and “Aghd means ceremony” A spread of symbolic items arranged on a ceremonial cloth. Mirror symbolizing eternity, candles symbolizing eternal light and passion, Quran a religious book, Honey, symbolizing eternal sweetness and an array of specialty sweets symbolizing prosperity.
* BRIDE’s ENTRANCE : The bride enters the ceremony space wearing a veil with her female friends,
* EXCHANGE OF VOWS: The bride and groom sit at the head of the Sofreh under TOOREH GHAND, a cloth held on top of the couple by female friends and relative. The officiant leads the couple through the marriage vows.
* BLESSINGS: Family and friends bless the couple with prayers, wishes and sweets for happiness and prosperity.
* HONEY CEREMONY: The couple's pinky fingers are dipped in honey and placed in each other's mouths, symbolizing sweetness and sustenance in their future life together.
* BREAKING BREAD :The couple breaks and shares a special bread called "naan-e berenji" to symbolize abundance and prosperity.
The ceremony concludes with music, dancing, and feasting.
